    About the cave

Mini Beans is a small series of free games about beans, made to be played in a browser — on a phone, a tablet or a computer — with no account, no download and nothing to buy. Every game is set in the same cave beneath the mountain, around the Eternal Granary, and they share one cast.

They are numbered in the order they were made. Bean Snake is a walk through the dark where every bean you find falls in line behind you, and the parade you grow is the thing most likely to end your run. Bean Crush is a match-three in which filling the Granary is only how you are let in: the stop is won by bringing Queen Key and King Miki together before the moves run out. Bean Tower, coming soon, stands glowing beans beside the Deep Road to hold the granary gate against a marching cutlery horde.

The same faces turn up from one game to the next, each keeping to rules of their own. Viper reaches further than he should. Astra never hurries and is never moved. Karmakaze is somewhere else the moment you come for her. DuskX, the Favourite and the SoulEater each have their own way of making a run harder or richer. Every character explains themselves the first time you meet them, and every game's page here carries a guide to playing it — tap the game's title to read it.

Bean Snake opens on a legend, The Legend of the First Bean King, written by SoulEater and narrated by Astra. Your progress in every game stays in your own browser, on your own device. Bean Snake is also on the App Store for iPhone and iPad.
