Bean Snake is a game about walking a cave and collecting beans. It asks for as little as it can. This page says exactly what it holds and where that goes.
Your settings, your best score, your chosen walker and the log of your runs are stored on your device by the game itself. They are never sent anywhere, they are not readable by us, and deleting the app deletes them.
The board is optional. If you never claim a name, the game never sends anything to it. If you do claim one, we store that name, the scores you post under it, and a random token that proves the name is yours so nobody else can post as you. We do not ask for your email, your real name, or anything about you, and there is no account behind it.
Names are public, because a leaderboard is public.
Watching an ad buys you a respawn. That is the only place an ad appears — the game never interrupts you with one. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising identifier to decide what to show, and Google's handling of that is covered by Google's privacy policy.
Whether it may do so is your call, and you are asked before any ad is requested:
Refusing either costs you nothing in the game. The cave plays the same.
Bean Snake is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect anything from them. If you believe a child has claimed a name, write to us and it will be removed.
Write to key.devs.key@gmail.com with the name you claimed and it will be deleted from the board along with its scores.
If this changes, the date at the top changes with it.
